Crafting Bedlam: A Tale of Friendship, Creativity, and Tabletop Games

Sandy and Dustin are our best friends. They are co-creators and co-owners of Bricklebrit Games.

Sandy and Dustin's journey as our business partners began years ago because we all shared a passion for tabletop games. We often spent weekends and late nights gathered around a table covered in dice, cards, and game pieces, sharing laughter, strategies, and unforgettable memories.

Andrea and I had the idea of creating our own tabletop game. Inspired by the countless hours of joy that board games have brought, we wanted to pay homage to our favorite pastime by crafting our own game. It was a daunting task, but we knew we had the perfect team with Sandy and Dustin by our side.

We affectionately named our project "Bedlam," a nod to the chaos and hilarity that often ensued during our game nights and after the fairy tale podcast that Dustin and Micah produced (Tales of Bedlam).

Sandy and Dustin's support and expertise were invaluable as we embarked on this creative journey. Their patience helped us through the intricate game design process, offering their insights, encouragement, and countless playtesting sessions.

While the road was challenging, it was also fun. Brainstorming sessions often became hilarious tangents and an unshakable bond that only deepened with time. Together, we overcame obstacles and setbacks and witnessed our dream of creating a tabletop game come to life.

Though Bedlam may not have been an instant success, it brought us closer together, strengthening our unique connection with Sandy and Dustin. The experience of designing a board game with our best friends was a remarkable adventure that we cherish to this day.

Looking back on our journey, we can't help but feel incredibly grateful to have Sandy and Dustin in our lives. Their creativity, loyalty, and unwavering support have enriched our friendship and allowed us to embark on a creative endeavor that few friends ever have the opportunity to experience.

As we continue to grow together as friends and co-creators of Bricklebrit Games, we remain excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. With Sandy and Dustin by our side, we know that tabletop games will hold many more adventures, laughter-filled nights, and unforgettable memories for us to share.
